Made this for dinner tonight – so, this IS probably his last home-cooked meal while he lives here because you know JJ doesn’t cook dinner TOO often…if I can help it.
1-2 lb stewing beef (I cut up a 3 lb roast into chunks because those damn stewing beef cubes are expensive!)
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 pkg. frozen stew vegs. (potatoes, onions, carrots, celery, etc)
I also threw in some extra potatoes, mushrooms, salt and pepper and some hot sauce from California Tortilla.
I threw it all in the crock pot and cooked it for about 9 hours on low. We ate it with some italian bread to sop up the delicious gravy.
